someone needs to be in charge of this blog...ahem, mother

Since no one has posted for over a year I figured I'd post since I have some cousin pics from the last couple of weeks of us all being in town.

Pictures

Hey everyone! Not sure who actually looks at this, but I have a little time on my hands now just sitting in the hospital. So I thought I'd post some pictures of the holidays! Hope everyone's doing well

I have been instructed that it is time to update the blog, but since we don't have any pictures to add at the moment I will just write something quick. We all had a great, although relatively small Thanksgiving. We were down to the kids at home, Megan's family, and Mark's family. It was a fabulous day though and we all loved being together. We even had a non injury turkey bowl, except for mom being taken out on the sidelines. She might think twice next time before she opts to be a cheerleader rather than a player!
That weekend we also embarked on our annual Christmas tree hunt, trying a different ploy this year. Several of us were dropped off on the upper road of Dog Valley and told to go find a good tree, while the rest of the party headed down to the normal parking area. I think we had a better deal since we only had to hike down whereas they had to hike up to us. We were all successful again (I don't think it is possible to completely fail with this, but is sounds good to say we did a good job)this year and found a beautiful tree that is now completely lit and decorated in our living room. We have even broken with tradition and have a few presents under the tree.
Last but not least for now is the announcement of one more family member! Andi Reese Keenan was born last night, December 10! We are all jealous that Mom gets to be up there with them, and are eagerly awaiting a promised posting of pictures on there blog. Both Mom and baby are doing well and Luke is so excited to have a new little sister!
That is the news for the day! Stay posted for more fun and exciting stuff and hopefully pictures soon!

Welcome!
Hey everybody! Thanks to Amber who finally took the first step in creating this blog, we now have a Gonda family blog! Now I know a couple of us already have our own blogs, but we figured that we could all contribute to this one about the little things going on in our lives. Plus, it will make it easier for mom and dad (mainly mom) to just check this one rather than all of our separate ones :) So after we get everyone's email address, we'll put you in the system allowing everyone to be able to make posts and add pics and such. If you have any questions about how to do anything, just give me a call and hopefully I can help! So feel free to post anything and everything about what's going on in your lives (with pics!), especially those of us who live far away! Enjoy!

Halloween

Halloween was another exiting time of rummaging through the dress-up box and trying to put something fun together. Some of us are a little more creative than others, but we all had a great time trying to get as much sugar as possible. We even attempted to continue the tradition of trading our candy after coming in for the night.
Let me explain a little for those who are confused on the costumes. Julie was a movie star, who after several inquisitive looks, decided to add crutches and a bandage on her leg later in the evening. Chris and Megan (she is taking the picture) were matadores, although Megan apparently chickened out on the tights. Mercedes was a bumble bee. Aimee got the prize for most creative costume. When Todd and Julie were going to be a princess and prince, she decided to be a castle. They backed out, but she went out and created her own costume. Todd thought being a cowboy would be perfect because it would allow him to carry his guns around and shoot people. Andrew, Chris's brother, took Halloween to heart and tried to scare all of us. After realizing that she could barely stand up in the yellow rabbit costume and since we have at some time lost the ears, Amber did the next best thing and put on nice, comfy, warm, karate clothes. Thalia was a little chicken, or chicken little. The dress-up box provided Mom with a fun dress, but unfortuantely she refused to run around in the matching wooden zoris. Apparently cowboys run too fast for that.
